Look, Avengers vol. 2 is part of the Marvel Reborn project. Continuity. Thing. Imagine if your giant crossover event lasted all year, and the theme of the event was "Let's make Marvel more like 90's Image comics!!!" For good and for ill.

Avengers vol 2 issue 7 = ** /##

You can tell someone from Image wrote this - Iron Man and Nick Fury get into an argument over whether Vision counts as work for hire. Cap and Iron Man actually interact! Finally!

Avengers vol 2 issue 8 = **

Avengers vol 2 issue 10 = ** /##

Cap and Iron Man are both in the issue. People get hit. Includes the immortal lines "THOR! But... you're supposed to be in Chelsea" and "Got to nail her before she can use her powers!" Also, Loki wreaks havoc.

Avengers vol 2 issue 12 = **/ #

Cap and Iron Man are both in the issue. People get hit. Very little screen time for the actual Avengers, it is mostly the Fantastic Four, the Silver Surfer and Doom.

Avengers vol 2 issue 13 = ** /#

Cap does not appear, but Iron Man makes a big speech about himself, and about Cap, and about how Cap is morally better.

On one hand, it is important because it is the end of the Heroes Reborn arc. On the other hand, it makes no sense because it was the second to last part of a 4 part crossover story ending the arc and the other issues are in other comics.
